I need help with a song title and artist

hello all

I have parts of a song my father use to sing. He would sing this to my mom when he performed, but I only have bits and piecies of the song. Please help me locate the artist and name of the song. I thought it was painted women, or If I ever need a lady I'll call you. it is classic country.
