the mystery mellotron song
I heard this song in a store while shopping today, and I don't know who it's by (which bugs me because I like to know who did it) any help would be greatly appreciated.
The contains a verse that has an acoustic guitar which is somewhat like "Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard" the chorus that has a synth that sounds like a Mellotron back by a cello and after the last chorus it ends with a Country-style solo/lick that has a slightly overdriven Telecaster sound. The only lyrics I can remember for now is "Is there nothing I can do."

go to the store, and ask where their muzak or whatever is piped in from... could be a radio station they leave a radio tuned to even, and, you could call or email the station, asking the DJ. If its a large department or grocery store, they are likely to use a service, and you can go from there ? |

mbStu,
Thanks for your input. I've heard the song again today and I have a such hard time remembering lyrics. I forget the open line, and the other lines I did remember weren't helpful in Google-ing it. I get a new philosophy... She was someone I was never going to meet. You're the living proof... I wish I had the face that caught my eye (I'm not sure about the exact wording.)
