Default Eighties/ Nineties Mystery Tracks

I found these two tracks on the end of an old cassette I was digitising. I can't remember the name of the band. I think they came off an EP (vinyl) from late eighties/ early nineties that I have sold in the interim due to poverty. Anyone recognise these track excerpts?

They are only 30 second excerpts of the songs in question. See below for full songs on YouTube.

I put one of the tracks on YouTube. Never done it before so let me know if there are issues.

I have tryed to identify both songs by using Tunatic, Audiggle and Midomi but no luck so far. These songs are probably very rare and therefore hard to identify.
Good luck.

Regards

p.s. Would you be so kind to tell me how do you post these open youtube links on this forum. Mine are always closed and it has to be clicked on link with URL, in order to enter the site youtube and see the clip. Thanks in advance.

Scroll down a bit and there's instructions on how to post a YouTube video.

I had them on vinyl and they were probably never released digitally so there would be no digital version to be matched with. Thanks for trying.

You just use the
PHP Code:
[youtube][/youtube
tags and paste the last bit of the song reference from the YouTube url between the brackets. (It's not actually PHP I just used the PHP tag to stop the youtube tags being formatted in my post).

Might as well bump this. I know it's a long shot but there's always a bunch of new members so what the hell.

*bump*

New member here.

The tracks remind me a bit of love and rockets, or tones on tail. This probably does not help much, but it would lead me to believe that it is from the late 80s.

Good luck though.

there was always some kind of mystery in those tracks that were incomplete at the end of the tape and you never could get the rest of the song.
