I think that and We Care a Lot are decent albums that have some really good tracks and a lot of filler. I'm a much bigger fan of their later material.

What do you think about FNM - W Care A Lot? I personally really like it.... Obviously the vocals aren't great but I find the sound to be similar to the heavyish sound on Angel Dust, minus the experimentation. I like it more than Introduce Yourself, although Faster Disco and the Crab Song are two of my favorite FNM tracks.

I feel like a minority for loving that one so much though

You'd think one of these days that they'd throw Drunkdriver into the similar artists tab for White Suns www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4lxSLWeDsw

I was just clicking through related artists on spotify after starting at OOIOO. That album is pretty cool all the way through.

Damn dude, that was awesome. Almost reminds me of something I would do (like Gage off of Bay Beef: A King). Where'd you find that?

You can always tell when a guitarist is a fan of Haino.

It celebrates silence without using it, and listening to it I can definitely hear that. It's quite beautiful.

Good luck on the noise brother, take that urge and run with it.

Gotta check it out. I really liked the piano sonatas.
And I think I'm gonna bring Trouble Salad back to life and go do some field recordings and found sound junk, because I'm just really bored all the time. Plus for some reason I've been incredibly motivated to make noise music lately.

If you're still looking for more John Cage recs, I stumbled upon one that I really enjoyed today. It's called String Quartet in Four Parts, Spotify has a version that includes his composition Four.

Yes. The first review is quite good, looking forward to reading more. Lucky you having that many Zorn albums, I used to have 150 or so till my computer shat out on me, now I have 15.
