Are you still taking recs? If so I'll suggest these (some of them were already mentioned by ISB but they should all be well worth adding to your list (probably many more, but I'm no movie buff either)):

Requiem for a Dream
Suspiria
Billy Elliot
Spirited Away
(even if you aren't specifically taking recs for animated movies, this one is worth making an exception for)
Fish Tank

Also, is the Dracula on your list in the OP Coppola's version?

I'll consider some of them. Billy Elliot I have zero interest in seeing, Suspira has bad connotations for me when I was much younger, so no there. The Dracula I have on the list is the 1930s original. Bela Lugosi? Not sure. B/white anyway. I've seen Coppola's version (Bram Stoker's Dracula, right? Gary Oldman? Love never dies? )

Yeah, that's the one I meant. Understood

Looked into Requiem for a Dream. Sorry, not my thing, movies about drug addictions and trips. Won't be adding that one. Nor Fish Tank. Thought that might have been a second sequel to Finding Nemo! Nah, doesn't appeal to me. Sorry.

OK then. My Spirited Away rec still stands, at any rate
