![]() Random Radio 025: déchiffonnâmes déroulement délicat d'échos
I noticed that a couple of days ago both the French composer, Michel Legrand and the French actor, Patrick Bricard had died on the same day. Bricard just happened to have a role in “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg” - one of the films that Legrand was well-known for as the composer of its famous soundtrack. OK, so yes, I could have decided to create a mix of obscure French soundtrack music, but instead I chose to go back to the French progressive and avant-rock music that I grew up listening to. Most of it is actually French (there’s a German band as well as one from New York), and it mostly revolves around (avant) prog (art) rock, Zeuhl, and touches of psychedelic - even a smidgen of minimal wave. ![]() Dashiell Hedayat - Fille de L'ombre Metabolisme - Khoros Moravagine - Funky Seven Anubis - Palais Sans Porte Ergo Sum - Night Road Moving Gelatine Plates - Memories Ferdinand Richard - L'adolescent Elancé Camizole - Camizolemania Atoll - Imaginez Le Temps Atlantide - Rêverie Fall of Saigon - I'll Never Be Back Arachnoid - Toutes Ces Images / Segami Sec Setout Ptôse - Waiting for My Soul Shylock - Le Sixième Pazop - And the Hermit Will Be the Master Rhésus O - Préambule Morgen - Love Tetragon - Nature Zao - La Soupe Weidorje - Vilna Emmanuel Booz - Nous Les Enfants Etron Fou Leloublan - Plus Rien Ne Nous Retient Dans Ce Pays Shub Niggurath - Yog Sothoth Quad Sax - Les Carillonneurs Komintern - Hommage Au Maire de Tours Urbi-Flat - Nirvana Juste En Bas de Chez Vous Harmonium - Chanson Noire Last edited by rostasi; 02-05-2019 at 02:57 PM. |
