Sun Kil Moon Ghosts of the Great Highway This is like an autumn sunset giving you a metaphysical blowjob. It's funny how something that didn't resonate in the slightest with you when you were younger can have such an impact on your when you're older. This is a beautiful record that I didn't care for ten years ago but now almost perfect. |

Gil Evans The Individualism of Gil Evans Lots of great players on this album that has mood. It's like a long drag from a cigarette in a dark bar this one. Paul Chambers, Richard Davis, Dolphy, Steve Lacy, Ron Carter, Elvin Jones, Wayne Shorter, and with Miles Davis writing sh*t. Record is fantastic. |
