Fred Deakin of Lemon Jelly spun this during a Breezeblock set and I immediately went hunting for it. Very happy to find a copy at my local antique mall a few months later!

I spin this one with my 7" of Frankie Smith's "Double Dutch Bus."

Initially misread it as "Butthole course".

Robert Wyatt
Rock Bottom

Pretty much a masterpiece. I'm taking this record home. It's a reissue but I don't really care. I'm usually not into the whole canterbury jazz folk thing but the layers on this are so beautifully put together, it just hits the right spot.

^Agreed. A dear friend recommended me this album years ago, and it sent me on to check out other Wyatt stuff, including, of course, Soft Machine, which...I'd never heard of. (I am ashamed.)

Right now there's some fat little kid watching youtubers with full blast volume on an iPad and his trashy mom is next to him not doing f*ck all about it. Well bitches, you're now gettin' a face f*ck full of Soft Machine. Eat this Wyatt/Ayers knuckle sandwich you dicks.
