Marc Ribot y Los Cubanos Postizos
The Prosthetic Cubans

I want this record to be playing in the background of a dank dark basement club where a sultry seductress curls the back of my hair and asks me for a cigarette before we go to the bathroom and bang the doors down.

Keeping it weird with some loopy ridiculous Nina Hagen. I love her. She's so damn strange. Not her best album but it's the only one I have in the shop right now and I'm charging my phone so I can't stream her first album or Nunsexmonkrock.

That's why you need to keep your bandcamp tab open. "Glintshake".

45 Grave
Sleep in Safety

Really fun horror/surf punk record fans of X and early DEVO would most likely enjoy.

Dog Faced Hermans
Hum of Life

Little firecracker of a band that makes me kind of think The Fall was just "okay". Totally rad album.

Pharoah Sanders
Karma

We're getting motherf*cking ENLIGHTENED in this shop today. Yeah lady, I know, the vocals on side A are funny. Do some drugs and get on my level of why this album kicks so much hard stankin' ass. I'm playing Pharoah for the rest of the day.

A favorite thing for me to do in elementary school
was to go around imitating Leon Thomas's singing.
Only my close friends knew who he was and what I
was doing which made it even more fun.

Also, you need to get a copy of this and play it hella loud
and clap yer hands like you're in a spiritually joyous trance:
