Fields of Nephilim
Dawnrazor

We got a UK original press in the shop the other day. Sounds great. Not a huge fan of the band but a little goth rock is nice to play in the shop.

I'll be closed before I would have the honor to do so.

Then they're just like "bye".

Holy sh*t. I'm retarded. I'm leaving it. The day you stop making jokes out of my bad grammar and spelling is the day I want to stop living.

EDIT: Also, I just edited your post instead of replying. The above statement was in your post for the last ten minutes. I need some sleep.

Eric Dolphy with Ron Carter
Where?

B-side is pretty laid back. Its actually kind of boring to be honest. I don't know. Some of Dolphy's sh*t is genius and some of it is just meh. OH, what are your thoughts on Dolphy?

That’s a great Ron Carter album with BS repackaging.

Dolphy is an unassailable genius. He took Charlie Parker’s digestion of Stravinsky and Bartók and bridged it over into free jazz. There’s these fragments of Ornette’s free jazz and Coltrane’s Africa/Brass - it’s Dolphy and he’s so ****ing celebratory with his freedom. It screams **** yes we did it! And the influence of his incredibly intelligent and disciplined wildness changed the landscape of jazz forever. He was one of the most important voices that said we can take this **** anywhere we ****ing want.
