ah man maybe it's my fanboyism talking but I love all their albums. Standards is more fun than anything else they've done and It's All Around You has "The Lithium Stiffs" which i'll go to bat for as their best stand-alone song. And now im gonna have to listen to them damn

I like The Catastrophist. I think it’s better if you go into it not expecting anything.

Maybe that was my problem. I expected too much. I really didn't like that record.

Sun Ra and His Intergalactic Infinity Arkestra
Night of the Purple Moon

BUNCH of Sun Ra just came in. Some re-issues, some legit OG presses. This is a re-issue which is sort of why I'm playing it. Fits the atmosphere right now.

Marconi Union
Weightless (Ambient Transmissions Vol. 2)

Once a month we do tarot card readings in the shop with a local wizard or witch or whatever the f*ck she thinks she is. She likes new age sh*t but I always play something on the ambient side. Tonight is a loop of this album. I use this to sleep sometimes.

New Order
Substance

Nice copy came in. It'll sell quick so I'd like to hear it before it goes.

Gallon Drunk
From the Heart of Town

Boozy dark dive bar rockabilly/blues punk. Rawkin'. This record was born from the night itself after a bender.

Looks like I'm working for free today. Lots of indie stuff came in. Lots of slowcore and post hardcore. Super excited.
