I compare albums all the time so this may be a touch hypocritical but as a listener I think it’s best to take Furfour as a separate entity. Normally, or at least when I was younger, I would be very unforgiving when a band would choose a more mainstream direction. But in this case I feel the opposite way. A band that’s capable of creating a pop record that’s THIS good has a
moral responsibility to put it out there.
