What he tackles here is so big and so triumphant it’s a heartbreaking beautiful gift that only he could give us. He packages our humanity up for us. He says you know what? This is a soulful complex “mixtape”. Slowed down compared to other grime one might hear echoes of Tricky and The Caretaker. Drug music for sure. Grime and trap need to collaborate. Recommended. |
