Hey, Occult. Next time you do an interview, it might be easier to send the interviewee a list of questions you'd want to ask him. The advantage of doing it question by question like you did is good because it's easier to do follow ups but you're also basically playing phone tag so to speak and it gets muddled with other posts. Good interview though.

Thanks for the input RS
ok my ocd is insisting I get back to 2016 but my add is insisting I do a listening guide to jazz appreciation this is not a top 50 list nor is it chronological It’s a list of great records in the order I think you should listen to them in order to foster your love for jazz the first six are easy basic picks all with volumes of info easily googled Kind of Blue - Miles Davis A Love Supreme - John Coltrane Bitches Brew - Miles Davis Maiden Voyage - Herbie Hancock Moanin’ - Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers Saxophone Colossus - Sonny Rollins

A beginner's guide is a lot less intimidating to take on than a top 50. Looking forward to ones I might not have heard.

If we wanted to make a top 50 we’d need to create some kind of system and criteria and then we’d probably just end up with a list like many others I don’t even know who “we” are I’d want Neap involved for sure
