I’m finding it harder to outsource work than I expected it to be. Machine wrote a wonderful review of Teen Suicide and Ori on Slayer - I think getting different voices and perspectives is fun. It’s exciting to me and makes the journal much better. I really want the other requests to come in.

The Benoit Pioulard Listening Matter



Pioulard is one of my favorite ambient/drone composers and he’s also a fine lo-fi jangle folk singer. Usually I’m probably looking for one or the other but this is what he does. I could see myself segregating his music via playlists. I wonder if this would annoy him or defeat the purpose of what he’s doing. My guess is nah. It just so happens he enjoys doing both and so he does. Then again maybe there’s more rhyme and reason to the song order.
