The Beach Boys Is there anything left to say? The greatest vocal harmonizers in the history of pop music. I chose this video because it's interesting not because it's the ultimate shining example. I feel like it's an insult to you, dear reader, to imply that you may not have ever listened to Pet Sounds. But if you haven't, do yourself a favor and correct that.

Arnold Schoenberg Spoiler for OccultHawk Original Image:
Over a hundred years ago Schoenberg birthed the musical universe that encompassed everything until electronics. Even up to the present, there has been no artistic revolution that has been able to move traditional instruments into a post Schoenberg reality. That's not to say there hasn't been movements and genres with branches and leaves and seeds. Social scientists marvel at our stupendous velocity when it comes to change. Oohing and aahing aside, when it comes to the sound, we still wander in Schoenberg's forest. For all we know, the era of Schoenberg may outlive humanity. Perhaps, the patterns of non-electronic music will always be pre-Schoenberg or a plant in his forest. Even though his ideas have been taken to their conclusions there may not be anywhere else to go. Spoiler for Picture of Mr. Schoenberg:

Erik Satie Satie's place on this list is due to the three brief piano compositions that make up his Gymnopédies. Composed in the late 19th Century, they laid the foundation for everything good and gentle starting with Eno and then really finally catching on a full century later.

It's all made on my phone where you can adjust the screen size with your touch screen. I thought about hiding my gigantic images in spoiler tags but yesterday, for the first time ever, I looked at this journal on a laptop and I decided I like the jarring effect of the chaotic mix of images sizes. It's harder to read but not impossible. I hate when huge images disrupt regular threads so I appreciate what you're saying but since this is my world we're going to have to enjoy distortion over form. Btw, the images with the numbers text are all mine. I feel like using some original graphics puts in some flavor you can't get elsewhere. And I like the crazy sizes.
