Flatbush Zombies - 3001: A Laced Odyssey (2016)

Quick Thoughts: I first heard of these guys when I went to Bumbershoot for free this year and they were on stage before Run The Jewels and Macklemore, and I gotta say - these guys certainly made the show for me. I had never heard them before but I was automatically hooked. This album is fantastic and certainly a strong debut for these guys.

if you plan on listening to them further i would highly recommend their two mixtapes. the album is okay i suppose but it was a fairly large let down after the quality mixtapes they put out. BetterOffDead is a must hear.

Quick Thoughts: I'm pretty sure Qwertyy and The Batlord are the two members here that truly understand what I like about hip-hop. This album is fantastic, and I'm so happy to find that it is 23 tracks long. Nice one, Bat.
