Have you ever been to a timeshare seminar for free ****? Just curious about how similar the two experiences are if you have.

No. They were free to go meetings but eventually they ask for money once you're "in."you have to go through an interview process etc.

What's most upsetting about this brand of cult is that it's just a big ****ing scam. Taking advantage of naive, lost and confused people to get money. The leaders are probably a bunch of smarmy, narcissistic dude bros. They ruin the integrity of what a cult should be. Ever since the Mormons came they changed the game up and now cults have become elaborate scams rather than bizarre spiritual crazies doing heinous things to appease their god/gods. Makes me sick.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

Sounds pretty similar to Scientology.

Yeah apparently if you are "chosen", you move up in ranks. It's all ****ing terrifying. I can't stop thinking about it over the past few days.

It's good to be aware of your mental state and think about your life, habits, etc. but I'd also recommend avoiding ruminating on things. Easier said than done (I struggle with it myself), but it can really drag you down because your brain is full of weird mazes and if you travel through them without someone to tell you that's some bull****, you can take yourself to some dark places mentally.

I think it’s true that the more you think bad thoughts the easier it is to think bad thoughts because you build neural pathways for the bad thoughts.
