Today's review is Brand New's The Devil and God Are Raging Against Me (Emo, Indie rock, Alternative Rock, Post-Hardcore)
Sowing Season (Yeah): Some acoustic guitar and someone singing lightly. And an explosion of awesome! Wow! Epic way to start an album. Great song! Millstone: This shit is awessome. The drums in the outro were awesome. Jesus Christ: Oh. They wrote a song about me. I hope they have positive things to say. Light guitar with easy soloing on top of it. And the drums and vocals come in to makes the song that much better. Good song. Degauser: Love the way this song builds tension. Great song. Limousine: Wow! Just wow! This is how you write a Emo song. Take note. You Won't know: is that a violin and a guitar? It's sounds so cool. Shit! That explosion was awesome. Welcome to Bangkok: Haunting intro... well the acoustic guitar and the haunting background sounds don't work very well together. All pays off with an epic explosion. I hear some screams in the background come in slowly. Wow favorite track so far. Not the Sun: Good song. Luca: This intro sounds familiar. Good song. Untitled: Good song Archers: Great song Handcuffs: Vocals start the song followed by easy guitar. Song is building up to him singing some more. Good song. Final thoughts: Good album, I have a few critiques but for the most part I really enjoy this. Excellently executed album. Favorite track: Welcome to Bangkok Last edited by Blank.; 11-10-2016 at 12:54 PM. |

Today's review is The Hotelier's Home, Like Noplace Is There (Emo, Pop Punk, Post-Hardcore, Midwest Emo)
An Introduction to the Album: And synth piano playing.... Oh god! what a terrible voice. Please tell me he doesn't song like this for the rest of the album. The Scope of All of This: Nice intro. nice explosion into the music. Decent song. Vocalist was much tolerable in this song. In Framing: And he brings back those godawful vocals. Your Deep Rest: This song is pretty good. Maybe the best thing going. Among the Wildflowers: Like this intro. Vocals are much better. Life in Drag: Yes! Now this is awesome! More please? Housebroken: Decent song Discomfort Revisited: Decent Song Dendron: Oh god, the vocals are awful again! Final thoughts: Decent enough album. A little bit lackluster. Favorite Track: Life in Drag |
