Intor_ To The Album: What is going on? This funky vibe with awful vocals is... The single best thing ever! Fuck you Fred Durst, we have MC Trustan.

Every M0rn|ng: Oh this is my jam!

$address $ong ($kit): Best cover ever! Better than the original. Did you just metalout green day? I love this!

No Sleep for Tristan: Fuck RATM, this is the best shit ever. MC Trustan is my hero.

No sleep for tristan!

DN $$$1ggy: This **** is the ****!

Songs are too short for me to do the play by play... Sorry Trist. :(

**** off Napalm Death! Tristan just beat you.

This album is easily the best thing MB has ever offered the world. All hail our overlord Tristan, the greatest artist of us all. This album makes embarrassed about my album that comes out November 5th.

And yeah, this was obviously my attempt at making a train wreck album in the vein of Speedin Bullet 2 Heaven and Angelic 2 Tha Core.

Today's review is Sunny Days Real Estate's Diary (Midwest Emo, Emo, Alternative Rock, Post-Hardcore)

http://cdn2.pitchfork.com/blog/341/2abbb5fe.jpg

Ok. Since the rock album survivor thread is doing Emo, I'll give these albums a listen and try to vote. Here goes nothing.

Seven: Ok. We have some alternative rock beat at a faster tempo. The song slowed down, and the tempo picks right back up. Really digging this song.

In Circles: I hope the whole albums instrumentals don't sound like this. It's good for a song or two but i like the drums to take a background to the guitar. Chorus is decent.

Song About An Angel: This song starts with a slow tempo. We have some drums come in. And then a build into what I assume is the chorus. I haven't understood a lyric he's sang so far. He's pretty much just mumbling.

Round: I really enjoy the guitar work here. Well done. These guys really make the drumming prominent.

47: They're really letting the guitarist stand out here.

The Blankets Were Stairs: Slow build into some guitar work and then the overbearing drums come into it.

Pheurton Skeurto: a piano comes in for the intro for this one. Very nice. Piano keeps for the entirety of the song.

Shadows: Easy guitar to start this off. Hey, I can actually understand what the singer is saying. This might easily be my favorite song. It just comes together so nicely.

48: This band has their formula and they're sticking to it.

Grendel: Ok, we have some feedback and what sounds like breathing kicking the album off. And now we have some light guitar with minor drum work. Not sure what's going on vocally. It's weird. I really love the bridge into the chorus.

Sometimes: This is probably the most mellow song on the whole album. Well, til the chorus.

Final thoughts: I was hoping for something more. This album has loads of potential, but seems to struggle in realizing it. The band has a formula and seems to be happy with it. That said, for what the album is its a fantastic album.

Favorite track: Shadows

Today's review is Meineral's EndSerenading (Midwest Emo, Slowcore)

https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....1yBarwjtSL.jpg

Love Letter Typewriter: Very depressing song

Palisade: Love this intro.

Gjs: Good song.

Unfinished: These soft melodic guitars with melodic vocals is interesting. I'm not sure what makes this slowcore

For Ivadell: Good song

Waking to Winter: ^

A Letter: Frankly there's not a lot I can say about this album that I didn't say about Sunny Day Real Estate's Diary.

Sounds Like Sunday: Well, I didn't know Sunday had a sound.

&Serenading: Good song

The Last Word Is Rejoice: Oh, I like the synth (I think that's synth) in the intro. Nice easy guitar comes on top of it playing slowly. Now some easy drum to really bring this all home. This might be my favorite song with the slow build of the drums.

Final thoughts: This album is good, but frankly I found Sunny Days Real Estate to be a bit more enjoyable with the more distorted guitars and more dramatic tonal shifts in the music.

Favorite track: The Last Word Is Rejoice
