I'd like to do something similar but go even deeper with artists that don't seem to be as well known as the artists they cover. Quote:

No one wants to get covered? I thought at least Frown would be jumping at the opportunity to torture me with his music. But fine. I'll just pick someone I like. First artist will be announced in the spam thread.

Anime Sucks!
And that's why I'm going to talk about my favorite one! I hate the seemingly more traditional style of anime that's along the lines of Dragon Ball Z and Naruto. Boring! I prefer something where it's retarded! So bad it's good. Something along the lines of B Gata H Kei! https://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/M...82,268_AL_.jpg It's about a fifteen year old girl who wants to have sex with a 100 guys before high school ends. Anyway, the main character, Yamada, is still a virgin when the series picks up. She believes that her first time needs to be with another virgin before she can screw a hundred men. The strange thing is that I feel like I can relate to this story more then most other stories. Quote:

Today's review is Thou's The House Primordial
https://i.ytimg.com/vi/fRR-jKZLUPw/hqdefault.jpg I need to slow down on this journal. Way too much posting. People might actually expect me to do this stuff more commonly. Any way, here's a reactionary based review of Thou's new EP/album. Wisdom in the Open Air: Starts off with a slow build. Some feedback comes into the background. Drone? I think I this is Drone music cause of how long it's going on for. A chord starts to play in the background. Premonition: Chord becomes main playing point eventually with some black metals vocals. Didn't even realize it was a new track at first because that Segway was well executed. Digging everything I'm hearing. The Sword without a Hilt: These songs do a good job of blending into eachother. I keep missing the switches. Songs kind of boring though with its silent approach. Diaphanous Shift: This song is much heavier. I prefer this from Thou. A loud sludge black metal song. Corruption and Mortal Trauma: A short interlude track. Psychic Dominance: We're back to a slower metal song but I dig. Actually the longer I listen to this song goes on the more I enjoy it. Prideful Dementia and Impulsive Mayhem: Track has a build with noise. So far this appears to be another interlude. Yeah, the biggest issue i can see so far is these interludes. They don't really offer much to the album. They come and are there for far too long. Occulting Light: A jolting synth sound starts the next track with a noise track that pops into more typical Thou. Good song. Thou is really good at songs like this. More of this, less interludes. Birthright: Another interlude. Though I think this one is maybe the best one so far. Malignant Horror: An explosion into the music that Thou is good at. Loud and angry. Final thoughts - This a good album. The tracks that are ment to set up the next track are good but too long (with exception given too Wisdom in the Open Air and Birthright). The song's they set-up however, are always excellent songs. Favorite track: Diaphanous Shift ☆☆☆☆ |

Killer Mike just said if you’re going to appropriate African-American music you should be there for the brothers and sisters instead of becoming a right wing *******.
He also said that he’s weary of gun control because it has historically been used to ensure that African-Americans were defenseless and there’s a possibility that even now they may have to take up arms to defend themselves against increasingly racist police forces and the Trump Administration. |

Today's review(Reaction) is Kanye West's new album ye (Pop Rap, Neo-Soul, Contemporary R&B, Trap Rap, Art Pop, Experimental Hip Hop)
Spoiler for big pic:
I Thought About Killing You:We get some dream vibes with Kanye informing me that he thought about killing me. Interesting way to start this. I can relate to this song pretty well. I dig. The track loses me a bit when it turns to a rap. I'm struggling to relate to it. Yikes: We got some singing by Kanye. Not feeling it too much. I like the chorus but not digging the verses to much. All Mine: This is starting in a way I like. I'm really feeling this track. I like this a lot. Added to my favorites list. Wouldn't Leave: Feelin this intro. This song is good. Not liking it as much as the last track. No Mistakes: Massive intro. Digging this song. Ghost Town: Track starts with female soul singer before it moves into a male soul singer. Track isn't as good as the last few song. Bit of a drop in quality. Violent Crimes: A organ plays while a auto tuned female voice sings. West comes in to make the track a hip hop song. Good song. Final thoughts: It's a fun album with a few nice cuts but nothing that blows me away. The only track that I liked enough to listen to again was All mine. The rest of it was decent at best. ☆☆☆ |
