I'd put forth my theory but Ked would probably eat my testicles. Not that I'd object.

Why it needs more love: this album is this band's only release, as mysterious as the lyrical content of these mellifluous songs. This is a wonderfully anachronistic collection of Irish folk, beautiful, haunting, and transcendent.

TH, can you make out any of this?

It generally amuses me endlessly to read the screeds and attempted barbs of those who mock what they have never known. Clearly, you have neither given nor received, neither experienced nor observed, such devotion as my darling Sir inspires. I call him so, not because he forces me, nor even requires it, but because my love for him demands it. I initiated it, actually, and he permitted it because he knows how much I respect him. But this was simply too disrespectful of him for me to laugh, so instead I replied.

You have not known what it is to be so thoroughly loved, nor will you, for you lack the capacity to attract and retain even friends, let alone a lover. This is why, when the day ends, my darling Sir is neither lonely nor alone, while you--you are both.
You shouldn't take offence Ked. Bat doesn't really mean anything he says and we've accepted at this stage that he'll just push the envelope as far as he can and stretch the elastic till it snaps back and takes his head off. I used to get upset with his seeming insensitivity but now? Hell, he makes jokes about my dead mother, whom I love with all my heart, but I just laugh it off.

Note: this should not, repeat not, prevent you from casting some curse on him, if such is within your power.

I introduce Mord to Skara Brae in plug.dj. I was very surprised he liked them so much. Micheal and Tríona went onto The Bothy Band, where Micheal sang & played guitar and Tríona played the clavinet. They were great live, and played with a lot of energy.

I swear to dog, if she doesn't bash out a paragraph or two excoriating you for calling her a witch I am going to feel horribly special.

I never said she was a bad witch though, did I? Anyway, Ked loves me.

Weird, you're the second Irishman to think Ked's a witch.

Nah, she takes being called a witch as a compliment.

I see her very definitely as some sort of cross between Stevie Nicks and Kate Bush; the kind of smouldering spirituality mixed with a lot of laughter, casting love spells, healing spells and perhaps spells that allow her to talk to animals.

I kind of expected/thought/hoped she would. It was certainly meant as one.

****'s sake, yeah. In fairness, it would have been easier just to PM a mod and ask for his journal to be deleted, but certainly the question remains why? Maybe he'll drop in and tell us. Seems a waste of a huge amount of work, unless he's joined some cult that forbids music or the discussion of same?
