I almost forgot that we used to rent games. Like, at least 90% of the games we played were rented until the Playstation/N64 era. I wonder if kids these days even know that you could rent games back in the nineties.

Oh, speaking of the N64, Flying Dragon was on the 64
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...ront_Cover.jpg I also rented this game.. it sucked.. I kinda miss those rental days, especially during the Nes & Snes era. back then it was a way to test games without buying it and sometimes it was cool seeing other ppl's saved states. i remember renting FF3 (6) and it had a save where every party member was LvL 99 and equipped with the best spells and weapons. |

The night before the Ice Storm '94 in Rochester, NY, I rented an NES game from our local grocery store. Due to the massive damage caused by the storm, all late return fees were waived and I kept the game for two straight weeks.
Unfortunately, cruel fate had a twist in store for this bizarre fortune - for the game I'd rented was Fox's Peter Pan & the Pirates... one of the absolute sh*ttiest titles ever released on the system. |

Rightfully so. It's a very good game.

@Tristan
lol cause I've never really owned a game cube. A friend lent me his with Wind waker, FF Chrystal chronicles and Baten Kaitos for awhile but I never got to play that game. Never owned any Xbox either. |
