It is, the story is not as deep as RDR or even GTA but it's a fun game and the setting is great.
You're in a school following a student schedule and attending classes which are fun mini games and outside of that you're also building a rep with different school cliques and even get day jobs around town. Rockstar already made a great blue print for Bully, they can easily make a great sequel just by enhancing the gameplay a little and expanding the world. I think Rockstar instead of trying to milk the Gta franchise should make a sequel for Bully and a prequel for RDR and launch that for the Ps4.

Triple Feature Yeah, I'm a big fan of the Fable series. No matter how often I got frustrated with the numerous glitches that were in the games throughout the series, I still found a lot of enjoyment out of all of them for different reasons. There is a popular opinion about the 2nd and 3rd Fable games that they will never stack up to the original...well, no ****, the original is amazing and will forever hold a special place in my heart, but it not stacking up to the original doesn't necessarily make them bad games, since they are the furthest from being bad games, in fact, I find the replay value of all 3 games reason enough to put them onto my top 10 favorite games of all time list (the list changes constantly). I still remember the first time I ever heard of / played Fable, and this was the Fable before Fable: The Lost Chapters was released, yeah, that one. At that point, as well as other people i'm sure, I had no idea that they original original Fable was not a completed game, but of course when The Lost Chapters was released, it all made so much more sense. However, it being the full game at last, I kind of wish they had kept one thing from the original: Jack of Blades. Yeah, I mean, I understand that Jack of Blades needs to be this evil figure throughout the game, but in the original original Fable, I feel like Jack of Blades had a much more maniacal voice than what they decided to go with in the full game: skip to :54 I dunno, i'm not saying the updated voice is necessarily bad, but after playing the original Fable so many times, I sort of grew to love the original Jack of Blades voice, it just fit him so well. To conclude about the first game though, it will always be a great game, and speaking from experience (heh), the recently released Fable Anniversary is fantastic. Anybody who is a fan of Fable: The Lost Chapters will absolutely love Fable Anniversary, everything about it is perfect. Onto Fable II. Honestly, what can I say, it's a great sequel, and one that exceeded my expectations by a lot. They did everything right, all the way down to the costume choices that you had. The gameplay mechanics were smooth, the customization was fantastic, and the world just seemed so huge in comparison to the first one. I did love that they kept some of the old towns that you came to enjoy from the first game, just updated to look so much better, Bowerstone being a big one. The newly renovated Bowerstone in Fable II looks and feels amazing. I also wanted to mention that they were finally able to introduce male / female gender choices, as opposed to the first one where you started off as a male. It's a small feature but I feel like a lot of fans really liked that, as well as myself. Another thing that was just amazing was the pet you had: I think it's so cool that they added this into the sequel, it added another responsibility that you have to learn to deal with. I can understand if you're not an animal person and this isn't really for you, but don't worry... Spoiler for spoiler:
I just love having a little companion with me as I adventure through Albion, it just felt more like a journey than a game, and that's what i'm assuming Lionhead were going for. Well, they did a good job at it. It didn't just feel like a video game, it felt like you were really going on an adventure and all the new things they added really helped it feel like a real adventure. To conclude, Fable II is fantastic, and a sequel that will forever hold a place in my heart. I probably replayed it 10 times and always found something different that I liked. I was weird in the sense that I always wanted a full evil and a full good character on my game file, it just felt 'complete'. thoughts on Fable III coming soon. I feel the post is getting a little long, but don't worry, i'll finish it. |

Now to conclude this entire thing with Fable III. Now, I know there were a lot of people that just absolutely despised Fable III when it was released. I simply ask...why? What was so bad about this game that made it so...well...bad? My first experience with the game was nothing but fantastic, and that held true every time I decided to play through it again.
The story of Fable III was certainly much different than what we were used to with the previous two, to me...Fable III felt a lot more linear than the previous two. What I mean by that, is that it seemed to have more of a straight forward story where you went from one place to the next to continue on with the story, and that sort of held true throughout the entire game. I don't really think that's necessarily a bad thing, I feel like it added more depth to the story as opposed to trying to make the world much bigger than it already was, while lacking in story telling. I think the concept of starting a revolution against your own brother is really cool, and I think they did a great job in portraying that sort of urgency to take down the bad guy in the way that they did. The combat was also more fluid than any of the other two games, I felt like the ability to get into a sword fight while at the same time being able to turn around and shoot a hobbe behind you with your revolver just felt so...nice. Graphically the game was really good, I feel like if they wanted to, they could have gotten away with doing a sort of Diablo III / Torchlight II style gameplay mechanic and it still would have worked in it's favor, but even though they didn't do that, it still felt crisp and polished, even with a few glitches here and there. Hey, Lionhead have never said they were perfect when they make games, but hell they try to be. I won't make a longwinded post about this game because the simple fact is, Fable III is a great game, and one, along with the other two, will always hold a special place in my heart. I think Lionhead did everything right when it came to these games, and maybe there are a few things I would have changed, but as a fan from the original original Fable, the series turned out being really well done. Also, as a bonus, I want to put this here: |

That was cool, but I just wished you didn't have to make your chick look like a bull dyke to get her strength maxed out.

I bought the Warriors game and never played it, I've still got my old PS2 around as well. Is it anything like Manhunt which is another Rockstar game?

Never played Manhunt, so I don't know. First half is like GTA though.

It's kind of like Manhunt in the way the levels are designed, but I'd say the gameplay is more similar to State of Emergency. There's some stealth involved, but overall it's a brawler with a fairly complex fighting system that I wish Rockstar played around with more. |

I think i played fable 2 briefly when a friend lent me his Xbox, never got too far cause i only had the Xbox for like a week but i liked what i saw.
Fable was supposed to be a Dreamcast game and it's shame it wasn't cause i owned a Dreamcast and could've played it there. Quote:

The Warriors is quite possibly the only truly great movie licensed game that has ever been created, and it's consistently ranked as one of the best games for the Playstation 2. I highly recommend that you give it a shot sometime, as it's much more than just a rehash of the movie.
