Yes. We don't talk about it.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I'm ashamed to say I've yet to play a Zelda game despite being a long time Nintendo fan (since playing Donkey Kong at the local fish and chips shop in the early 80s). Is there an ideal place to start? I don't have a home console, just portable ones (GBA, DS, 3DS).

After you play the one that those two suggested.

I would get these games in this order:

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D(3DS)
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D(3DS)
Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass(DS)
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks(DS)

I know I mentioned this to you in plug but a top 5 without A Link to the Past seems like a tragedy.

Maybe that's only me though and because it was the first Zelda game I played. After that I went back to play the original ones on NES and I hated those two games and didn't really get too far in either of them.

The banjo successor is a spiritual one I guess but I had no idea it was coming out in a few weeks. They crowd funded for it and was able to meet their initial goal of 175,000 pounds in 40 minutes with a million pound goal within 21 hours.

Here is the trailer for it.

Believe me, if I were to do a top 10 (and I considered it), A Link To The Past would be on there. But my experience with the games in my top 5 surpass my experiences with the other games. I know some people may find it crazy that I have Wind Waker so high, but I played through that game twice, once on the GameCube version and the HD remake for the Wii U, and both times I was blown away by it.

I loved A Link Between Worlds on 3DS, which is a pseudo remake of A Link to the Past.

But my favorite is Breath of the Wild.

Doesn't Four Swords for GBA have Link to the Past on it? Or is that Minish Cap? One of the two GBA Zelda games has Link to the Past. Get that one.
