I enjoy her music, simple as that. I don't look into the politics of who she is nor do I care about what her aesthetic is that appeals to her audience. A lot of people find her voice to be boring apathetic moaning, but I find it insanely beautiful. The apathy is a big part of what makes it so appealing to me, perhaps.

However, I'd take Portishead over her any day. Beth Gibbons is fantastic and I love Portishead. I also love trip-hop. I listen to music I enjoy and I leave it at that.

Lana's music ain't bad not my favorite, but I certainly don't mind it. She has a nice voice and her music is beautiful.
