Well I'm a huge fan of music, and I find myself constantly in the depths of YouTube and Bandcamp and thus am always something new I like. So this isn't genre dependent or date, or anything like that but purely my favorite thing I've heard that day. So how it'll go is every day I'll edit this post with the next day. It should be fun, and I hope you'll all go along with it and make your own daily favorites.Anyways to the list
Day 1 - 10/12/14 Clipping: Something They Don't Know Great great new single from experimental hip-hop outfit Clipping heard the beat and it immediately took me on a six-minute trippy odyssey of a posse cut. All in all really loved it. (Also there's a cool ODB sample in here too) something they don't know b/w mouth | clipping |

Welcome to Journaltown, Machine. Glad you decided to start a journal. You've already proved yourself a valuable and contributing member, someone who can think, and advance a good logical argument. Welcome!

Day 2 10/13/14
Wingnut Dishwashers Union: Proudhon In Manhattan Awesome folk-punk song by singer-songwriter Pat The Bunny he's been around for a while now and I've fairly recently gotten into his music he now fronts the band Ramshackle Glory so check them out when you have the chance they make some awesome music. Anyways Proudhon is a great song that I've found myself singing a lot to myself over the last few weeks so I decided to make it my second song of the day! http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pXjHdJ9Oi9Q Check out the song! |

Nice to see a new journal around here. I have seen a lot of your posts and you seem to be a pretty cool and smart contributing member. I just listened to that track by Clipping, and it was pretty dope. I might give the full album I try some time. But I look forward to what you post.

Day 4 10/15/14
The Microphones: I Felt Your Shape Today's pick is from an album of the early 2000's entitled The Glow Pt.2 by The Microphones. Honestly I'd check out the whole album, but albums are next week so for now I'll take my personal highlight I Felt Your Shape. It's a song that with its beautiful finger picked guitar chords, and lyrics that are honestly fairly haunting I Felt You Shape is a song that everyone should hear along with the rest of the album regardless of your musical tastes. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UWf2oF...soBhNRVblOWXSi |
