Armand Hammer - Race Music (2013)

I'm not totally sure what it was about this album that didn't put it over the top for me. The lyrics are fine, the production is fine - but I just ended up liking it, as opposed to loving it.

This pretty much echoes my initial thoughts on the album, but then it really grew on me. I think that lyrically it's Woods' best work. Renaissance Garments though, what an awful hook.

I am in no doubt that it will grow on me, and it's certainly an album I will give repeated listens to.

This album is a bit of a drag. Distinctly average Lo-Fi indie rock.

Entirely solid pop/rock album but a little in the "okay, that happened and then it ended" category. Solid, as I said.

Not quite as good as 'Ronin' but still pretty good. The second half is very good.
