Recently enjoyed:

This beautiful performance of T. Rex at Wembley Stadium (1972).

And this lovely performance by the wonderful Lesley Gore, circa 1964.

This song will always remind me of late-night (and I mean, 2AM and nothing to do but lay in bed and watch the sun rise) radio.

Red Rider - "Lunatic Fringe"

Spoiler for KZOK Seattle, thank you.:

Which reminds me a whole lot of this.

Golden Earring - "Twilight Zone"

Spoiler for I'm sitting here waiting, the gun's still warm:

Which somehow reminds me of this. (Can we just take a moment to appreciate the name of this band?) Except this song reminds me of my teenage years - every Saturday my favorite radio station used to play nothing but the best songs of the 70s from 9 until midnight. Good times.

Sniff n' the Tears - "Driver's Seat"

Spoiler for the news is blue.:

Here's some glam to lighten the mood a little. Notice how this song mentions T. Rex and refers to the boys as "Boogaloo dudes".

Mott the Hoople - "All the Young Dudes"

Spoiler for Boogalooo duuuuuudes:

Speaking of glam, I don't know how I've gone so many years without fully appreciating Slade.

Slade - "Gudbuy T'Jane"

Spoiler for glammy goodness:

That'll be all for now.
