I recommend this if you haven't already heard it. A great intro to some great music:
Then head down into South America for this:

So then I started listening to Pink Floyd, well Std Barrett's Pink Floyd. I kind of identified with Syd Barrett for some reason and started listening to Pink Floyd's music with him a lot. One thing that attracted me to this sound was how chaotic and mad it was( Syd went a bit mad towards the end of his career, before he left Pink Floyd. ) This was my favourite period for Pink Floyd, there is really something magic about this sound that I can't describe properly. Maybe there is a nostalgic aspect to this for me but I can say that I never heard anything like this before I had heard it, and still haven't afterwards (to state the obvious :P). This is definitely music I will still be listening to when I am in my forties and beyond. ![]() Pink Floyd ![]() Pink Floyd - Interstellar overdrive - HD - YouTube Pink Floyd - 05 - Pow R.
