So you'll all be checking out our new collaborative AOR journal when it hits, yes?

I listened to every song you posted in your smooth jazz journal with an open mind and just found nothing to enjoy at all. You just like a lot of ****ty music, unless for some reason you filled that journal with music that you think is subpar for the genre.

Yeah, I'm so terrible for enjoying something you can't wrap your toxic little mind around. Grow up.

I didn't say you were terrible, I said your taste in music was terrible.

Eh, if you think Pat Metheny is terrible then that's really just sad more than anything else.

I do like me some Pat. You like smooth jazz, neoprog, and AOR and rep them all. Hard. Those things are terrible. What's so hard to get about that?

You're a smart guy. Think about it. All I can say is I outgrew that kind of black and white thinking about music when I stopped being a teenager. You learn to appreciate different aesthetics and respect other people's musical tastes even if you don't relate to it. And when provided with reasonable reviews (which I wrote) about albums I liked and why, dismissing them all as terrible is something a 12 year old does.

Politics and religion may be polarizing topics, but music is supposed to be better than that.

*you're

Anyway, I say that's dumb. If I think it sucks I don't have to pretend like it doesn't to protect your feelings. We can disagree on things and even think that one person or the other has bad taste in music. I'm cool with that.

When you post a smooth jazz (or smooth rock) song that doesn't suck I'll concede that the genre isn't 100% garbage. Until then I can only go off of what I've heard.

We'll agree to disagree then. Just seems pointless to be argumentative when you don't have clear criteria you can explain other than "I hate it because its smooth and adheres to an aesthetic that I don't enjoy".

I, for instance, can see the value in your music Frown even if it's not my ideal choice for a drive down the highway.

Anyway, back to the Trollmeistah.
