17. Be - Common


It only makes sense to follow a Kanye album with a Kanye-produced album.

After the unsuccessful "Electric Circus", Common must have felt he had to follow-up with a more mainstream effort. He did exactly that by putting Ye on-board. Common has always had sophisticated lyrics but the stand-out feature of "Be" is definitely the production. Every single beat on here shines.
