They are an alternative rock band that sometimes sound like they have a big beat sound. An example of this comes in the form of the track "Metro".

Here is a fun listen...try Die Antwoord. A south african hip hop group that is drenched in electronica. The pleasant surprise that you might find out is that Hi-Tek is a part of the group.

Their music videos are just as fun as the songs that you hear on the album so after you give that a go, check out their videos. They had me in stitches.
