Thanks! In terms of the studio sessions, I did 3 songs for about $500, that was regardless of hours spent so it was a pretty good deal. The three songs were Bloom, December and another one called Oceanfloor. (here is that one https://soundcloud.com/zer0ne1/oceanfloor)

But yeah, working with a studio really helped alot in recording and producing my own stuff as well, it taught me to pace myself more with recording and being more meticulous with mixing and editing, especially with live sections like guitar and vocals.

SONGS I'M DIGGIN
Fetty Wap-D.A.M.(Dats All Me)

On this installment of Songs I'm Diggin, here's one of the newest tracks from a recent artist I've been getting into. Fetty Wap is a Paterson, NJ rapper/singer with a pretty unique drawl in terms of his singing that may have some people taken aback, but personally I really enjoy it. I first heard him on the now-megahit Trap Queen, and the singing plus rapping style he had was something I found unique and fun to listen to.

If it's one thing Fetty has it's a talent for hooks, and he really brings it on this song. My absolute favorite part of this track is in the chorus where the vocals harmonize and make it both catchy and engaging. Along with that, there's all these little melodies that pepper the song and keep you listening in on it to find the little details. What I like in terms of the lyrics compared to Trap Queen is that it is more of a heartfelt song and not just a drugs and money kind of thing.

I sincerely hope that Trap Queen isn't the last of the hits that Fetty comes out with. He has a really unique and recognizable style and I'd definitely like to see how he develops it over time.

SLEEP (THE DAY THE SUN EXPLODED)
new song by me :D

Hey everyone, Antonio here with a track that I made a couple of days back on a whim. I pretty much had the guitar down and just messed around with some lyrics really quickly. The end result is still sort of a practice version though(especially with some of the singing and the random pause when I'm trying to remember the lyrics haha). The meaning of this song is pretty straightforward in terms of the title, but here are the lyrics in case you want to follow along:

Spoiler for lyrics:
Goodbye
To Sunlight
Now we rest
Until we rise
Feeling great
Here comes another day

Feel the warmth
Before you go
Wrapped around
Your very soul
Times you had
They're never coming back

All the people they
Feel so far away

Feel the fire and
Feel like it's ok

Finally
You found some peace
Now you have
The time to dream
Don't you fret
Cause nothing really ends

But yeah, this is still in it's infancy in terms of being a fully realized track, but I'm pretty glad with how it turned out all things considered. Hope you guys enjoy it!
