Perhaps you should change his username to the Spamlord? Without his knowledge of course....

As a new member randomly browsing through some of the threads of this site, I've just been reading through this and I'm definitely going to be giving some of the albums you listed a listen! There's some really awesome sounding stuff there, can't wait to try the albums

I love Gavin Bryars. That hobo song "Jesus' Blood Never failed Me" Blew me the **** away one night on a soft couch stoned.
Obviously they meant early 20th century. I have some question if you don't mind:

A number of recordings are mentioned in the notes...is the recording you posted the one recording in the water tower?

Do you know how soon after the sinking of the Titanic it was recorded?

Is this 14+ minute track the only one that was recorded or is there more on that CD you showed?

This is an amazing and very moving recording...I'm blown away by how clean it sounds.

I'll have to light up a bowl and listen to it the proper way.

Just finished listening to the Land of the Loops album - fantastic stuff and I'm actually annoyed at myself for never trying them out sooner! Thanks for the recommendation!

No, from what I've read it was a 19th century water tower. Why would it be obvious that it was early 20th century?

Yes. I believe I implied that in the review. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Like I mentioned in the review, it was recorded in 1990, so I guess that would make it 78 years after the sinking.

The full album is about an hour long.
