Listened to DANCE and Phantom, that group sounds pretty good. I'll have to give em a try. I hardly listen to anything like that, but it reminds me of a lot of what I like about Daft Punk without a lot of DP's lameness.

A-#1 journal, Kayleigh. Even though I never have liked any of this music, you have inspired me to try it out again because I just couldn't resist your reviews, they just crack me up. Good job, friendo.

Wow, I'm extremely flattered you think so. I feel the same way about your journal, you have an excellent way with words!

Sonace - Catalogue Assistant Seventeen Years Trappers în Padure Place of Waste Hornsman Something for X Hasi mtu anakuwa chanya Hornsman (Reprise) Our very own Conan's album. I've just finished listening to Seventeen Years, I enjoyed it. Although this isn't my style of music at all I'm enjoying it. I was slightly surprised that there wasn't lyrics in it. Isn't a bad thing though, some songs work better without lyrics. Trappers in Padure, I'm not as keen on this one. I like it, but I feel like I don't remember it after I've listened to it. Whilst listening it's a good song, I just don't think it's my style at all, I found Seventeen Years something that wasn't my style but I could listen to occasionally. I just don't think this is a song I'd seek out on my library. I'm not dissing it in any way at all though, you know how awkward my taste's are. Place of Waste, I can't put my finger on it, but I like this song alot. Hornsman, I feel it's very very similar to Trappers in Padure. Same style and such. Something for X & Hasi mtu anakuwa chanya, I reeeeally like them. They're chirpy, flows awesomely well, nice 'n' happy. I would actively search for these song just to listen to it, I like them alot. However I am not a music critic and I don't know what styles/techniques Conan has used, so I'm sorry for the bland, bleak, boring review. I apologise Conan too, as I haven't really helped with feedback and such. I just thought it was important for you to atleast know wither I liked the album or not. Overall I liked it! I liked especially how it's nice & short, I lose interest in albums sooo easily because they're too long and similar sounding. I think you achieved variety in your album, without it being too long. Well in, all round good album Conan, keep up your awesome work

It's about time I updated this thing anyways...
DASH BERLIN - THE NEW DAYLIGHT 1. Till The Sky Falls Down. 2. Man On The Run (with Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren). 3. Wired (ft. Susana). 4. Waiting (ft. Emma Hewitt). 5. Never Cry Again. 6. To Be The One (ft. Idaho). 7. End of Silence (ft. Rowald Steyn & Nina Deli). 8. The Night Time. 9. Renegade (ft. DJ Remy). 10. Janeiro (ft. Solid Sessions). 11. Feel U Here. 1 12. The New Daylight. So I came across this CD because I absolutely love the song "Man on the Run" by Dash Berlin, it's an all time favourite of mines, so I decided to check out his other stuff as my friend had highly recommended it (she has ****hot taste in music, just like me ) So I downloaded the CD turned on the first song, "Til the sky falls down". It's okay, I mean it's nothing special, as a first song I don't really like it, it's predictable and boring. The lyrics are very soft and easy on the ears though, her voice is very soothing. nevertheless the song is ****e! :D Man on the run, well as I've already stated, this song is infact one of my all time favourites. I just love it. Once the intro is by with, it has such a great build up, the lyrics are immense, the vocals are sort of sad, you can relate to them, they're in my sig ha! This is the type of song I most definetly put on before a night out, I gives me little butterflys! and makes me want to go out. Especially when it goes to the (I assume Piano but im no expert) good part when everything slows down and the lyrics come through. The Piano sort of reminds me of Robert Mile's children, it's awesome. Great song. I shall post a video of it for you all, it's be a shame keeping it all to myself Wired, it starts off with a very happy little beat, that I absolutely love. I'm not the keenest on what follows that though, its sort of annoying... i love the part where it goes quiet and her strong vocals come through, it's excellent. The part after that is awesome too, it's very different, original even. Me likey! All in all, I really like this song, but it's not quite up there with Man on the run! TO BE CONTINUED...when I can be bothered!

His last song, though..."One and one"...maybe it was the woman's wavery, breathy voice or the persistent dance beat or the video, but this song was my least favorite of his. The image of all these people rising up toward the light, and the unexplained, meaningless symbols (the funny greenish chip in the container), and the overly-dramatic scenes of people being mean in trivial ways left me feeling the video was heavy-handed, not subtle at all. I did like the lines "one and one still is one" and "I am half and you are half" to represent how we humans are united as humanity and should care for each other. The song encourages people to be kind and thoughtful about each other, not going out of their way to hurt others, and it shows people seeing the light, literally, that our lives are intertwined, like one being made of many individuals. That's a nice thought. And I did really like his glass/plastic see-though piano!
