I like the video scene when they're playing their music in the dumpster, even when they get trash dumped on them. Being able to see humor while in a not-so-good situation is a helpful quality to have...and to bring out in your friends. I like thinking of you all blasting this song and enjoying your time to yourselves after classes!

Good write up.
Im not sure if Coheed would be my thing. I saw them live once but it was at a festival, on the main stage and in the middle of the day which didn't suit them very well. I might give them a go sometime though. |

I'm about to post the performance from the Neverender Tour that I was talking about. I think you should listen. I can even put some links in this right now. |

Here's the performance from the Neverender Tour that I was talking about.
The end is hot. I don't know how else to describe it. When Claudio has it face in the guitar? Gave me chills. Here you go. Tell me what you think. |

Coheed and Cambria's songs remind me a little of Def Leppard, whose music I listened to a lot when *I* was in college. The similarites I hear are in the use of heavy drums, the melodies, and the songs' emotions. For example, contrast Coheed and Cambria's "Far" with "Hysteria" by Def Leppard. Do you hear the similarity, too?

I know what you mean about "Pearl of the Stars," Erica. I really love that song.
I can see why you made the connection between this song and "Far." I wouldn't have ever compared the two before, though. Thank you for reading. [= |
