I haven't had a chance yet, and it's late and I have school starting tomorrow!! I fell asleep to this band, though, I really enjoy them. Quote:

I have to say, I'm a fan of more of the work by Alcest, but this band comes close for me. |

I've only listened to the Amesoeurs record once and i liked it but it didnt have the same immediate impact that the Alcest record did. I should probably listen to it again. It's a shame that they split though because there was definite promise and potential there.
Im glad you're liking Alcest so much |

I like the album, but I wasn't amazed like I was with Alcest. I think there was promise, and I would have followed them, too, continued buying their albums and such. Do you know why they broke up? Hehe, you knew I loved them! |

I'm sure you can find some translations somewhere. I feel like I tried that. |

Matt & Kim - Daylight In my suite, I have the loudest speakers, so when we're all in our rooms, I'm the designated DJ. This song is our, "Today's a really good day, let's celebrate" song. Musically, it's not the most amazing. Vocally, he's not the best. Melody-wise, it's not overly complex. But I love the song nonetheless. It's a feel good song, it makes all of us feel happy, and it's a great song to blast when we're all done with classes and feel like enjoying our time to ourselves. Tell me what you think, or don't. [= Just thought I'd share a song that makes me happy. Last edited by Arya Stark; 03-20-2010 at 09:00 AM. |

Daylight! I discovered the song through the Bacardi commercial and I love it for pretty much the same reasons you said. There's nothing particularly great about the song, there really isn't. But I find myself listening to it a lot when I'm done with work and have some time off to kick back and relax.
Oh, and if you like Amesoeurs or Alcest, I would highly recommend Les Discret. It's members of Amesoeurs and it's fucking awesome. |
