i was thinking it would take me about six months to do if i did it properly.
what about gear? have you decided what you are gonna pack? are you gonna have someone mail you supplies along the way?
Yeah, the whole thing. I'm going to start in Georgia and end in Maine. I'm guessing it's going to take five months if I average around 17 miles a day or so.

This is the backpack my mom got me for Christmas

Amazon.com: TETON Sports Explorer 4000 Internal Frame Backpack: Sports & Outdoors

This is the sleeping bag I'm grabbing, since I just found out my old one's covered in mold.

Amazon.com: Featherlite +20 Ultra Light, Ultra Compact, Sleeping Bag By Ledge: Sports & Outdoors

And this is the tent I'm eyeing

Tarptent

Other than that I'm trying to descide what other amenities I'll need, like a stove and water filter and whatnot. I'm gonna have someone, maybe my mom, mailing us supplies.

Just my best friend and I. I know how to fly fish well enough to catch a few things, but I'm going to be pushing it pretty hard. Like I said, trying to average 17 or so miles a day. Plus I'm trying to find more ways to reduce my pack weight (trying to keep it around 30 lbs or less). So I don't know about bringing a fly rod. If anything I'll probably just throw out a trout line before I go to sleep.

Fuck what you've got going on though, come.

Who gave you a nautilus line holder? Sweet reels for sure. Steeldrivers were at The Down Home last night and I don't feel well. I hope you are doing better.

dallas radio has long been a very sad state of affairs, and though those years at the 97.1 the eagle, and 92.5 kzps got me through my early years,.....the lack of variety began to make my ears bleed,...i feel as though it was BETTER back then, not that that's saying much,....

but back two novembers ago,....there was a beacon,...thank you 91.7 kxt finally i was using my RADIO again (i love raido,..i love everything about radio,...in theory)

now, over a year into publicly funded radio bliss, my station as became more like jack fm (the local 'we play everything commercial' station)

i'm saddened by this, and now with the station on the brink of failure and in need of a music director (who has experience as per the ad), please,....please,....anyone in the dallas area,....save me from this wreckage of a station,...i miss KXT and am starting to regret my marijuana induced patronage

Don't you get tired of the constant repetition of songs? That's why I can't stand my local radio stations. The rotations that they have set up can last for atleast three months while they slowly add a new song here or there but the payoff for those new songs just aren't worth it when I have the interwebs at my finger tips. Might I suggest that you get satellite radio? have you ever thought about trying that?
