I'm really starting to love this album. The bass work is great, it has this smooth feel to it that I can't get enough of. The guitar work has light, textured feel to it.

There is a band I want to compare these girls to that has a similar feel, but I can't remember the name but I can remember the history behind the band. Their father visited a gympsy, who said that his children were destined to become famous musicians. So when he had kids, he brought them instruments and had them take lessons, and they ended up producing this extremely unaccesable style that The Raincoats reminded me of.

I LOVE GZA's Liquid Swords but I have never got around to listening to anymore of his output, so I was looking forward to hearing this. I felt cheated I have now played it 3 times and it still doesn't do anything for me. It is certainly not bad at all but I still cannot remember any defining moments from the album and even the beats are nothing special.

I cannot really add anymore to this I'm afraid.

4/10

Are you still taking albums or should I wait for a bit before recommending another one?

It doesn't get better than Liquid Swords, I'm afraid. I dunno about 4/10 thoguh.

Anjani- Blue Alert. I'm often very influenced by the season, as far as the music I listen to. Anjani is straight up winter for me all the way, and I'm starting to think it's boring now that it's warming up. What's your thoughts?

Band I saw a show of a couple of weeks back. I liked the show so I bought their debut CD.

I megauploaded it for you, as I don't think you'll find them online very easily.

Listening to it right now. I like it, its really noisy. Sounds like improvised thrashy death metal music with alot of dissonant and noisy guitar with a guy screaming and making sounds into a mic with a ton of distortion. I love the noise, but I wish they would switch things up a little bit, it feels repetative.

My favorite part is the random bouts of "rapping". I think they may have been a bit high while recording this

For Trollheart:

Anthony Miles - Even Wolves Dream (1993)

I like Ambient music. I like minimalist music. I like electronica. So I should like this then yes? No. Sorry. I thought it was exceedingly dull and completely forgettable. I listened to it three times just to make sure it wasn't a grower. It wasn't. I can't say anymore really. 1/10
