Music from Russia (electronic, artist, song, better)
Заточка - Zatochka

Yorsh (Йорш)
(caver Dropkick Murphys - "Rose Tattoo") |
Gamazda (Alexandra Kuznetsova), piano cavers

Leningrad (Frontman Sergey Shnurov). Style: ska punk, pop, rock. Shnurov is one of the best Russian poets now (many may not like his lyrics because of the style, but technically it is at the level of Vysotsky). In the mid and late 2010s, he worked with top directors for his songs.

Band THEODOR BASTARD (Alexander Starostin and Eva Veva). Style: ethnic music, ethno-electronica, trip-hop, darkwave, neo-folk.
|
PALC (Taya Paltseva). Style: rock, rap, funk.

Band Melnitsa. Natalia O'Shea (Helavisa). The Queen and Legend of Russian folk-rock. The band has had a huge influence on the development of Russian music over the past 25 years. I think the number of bands that were formed with the words "like Melnitsa, but heavier sounding" is in the tense, if not hundreds. I still remember falling in love with these songs 20 years ago, when I first heard them from a speaker rewound with electrical tape, connected to an old Pentium I computer.
