First episode last night. Anyone watch? I liked it more than I thought I would.

Yes, saw it and it seems promising.

I thought Game of Thrones was particularly good at giving us layered characters with arcs that placed them both on the side of good & bad. Matt Smith's Daemon Targaryen seems to fit nicely.

I'm looking forward to this evening's episode.

It continues to impress me, which might have more to do with GoT ending on such a sour note. I keep bracing for The Hound/Tormond fan-service talks.
