I think it’s weird that Fluff would think it’s odd for me to know about a heavyweight champion.

@Fluff
So were you ever going to tell me what context makes this quote not neo-Nazi drivel? Quote:

After listening to a bunch of Last Podcast on the Left aliens episodes I've come to the conclusion that everything else they do is a smokescreen for Marcus' desire to replace George Noory on Coast-to-Coast-AM and the other two members of Last Podcast on the Left are desperately trying to keep Marcus on some level of reality. I ****ing love it.

After getting into The Black Tapes I've come to the conclusion that bringing back radio dramas for no reason could be the best thing the hipster generation ever did.
|
Have you tried Welcome to Nightvale?
Or, on LPN, The Story Must Be Told? I never really got into nightvale but its hugely popular |
One of the better, newish podcasts I loved was Rabbit Hole about how the internet indoctrinates us to be extreme versions of ourselves by only showing us the extreme news we agree with.
I'm a big urban planning nerd, so I listen to those podcasts: 99% Invisible Talking Headways Invisible City The Energy gang The more general podcasts I like are: Radiolab Alice isn't Dead Welcome to Nightvale (sometimes) Revisionist History (I'm aware everyone hates Malcolm Gladwell) Deep State Radio |

Oh boy Charles the latest LPOL episode is on my girl Jodi Arias.

True Crime Bull**** is epic. Israel Keyes is a ****in' snow leopard. It's gonna eat away at my mind for years knowing I'll never know anything about him because that was his design.

Keyes legit sounds like the most normal guy in the world no matter what he's talking about and he doesn't even sound like he's getting off on the attention except that he clearly must be or he wouldn't chuckle so much. You can't even detect the personality disorder like you obviously can with someone like Paul Bernardo who can't control his obsessive dissembling. He's quite possibly the most high functioning serial killer I've ever heard and he could be anywhere watching you waiting for the chance to strike and you don't even know what to fear cause it sounds like what gives him a boner is keeping as much of his modus operandi a secret as possible to the point that he uses accelerating his execution date as a carrot for giving confessions that just end up being a runaround anyway. I hear he's a necrophile but he's kept so much **** secret that we can't even know. It's like Bundy at the beginning of the serial killer age never let us know just what might possibly be hiding under the eyes of everyone you might ever meet because that's what would make him fully erect on the electric chair. But the most terrifying thing of all is that he presages a world where the lower functioning potential serial killers get caught early on cause policing has come so far or they just shoot up a school and put a bullet in their brain in an hour, but the highest functioning serial killers have learned all the lessons of Bundy and Gacy and read all the true crime psychology books and operate like evil ninjas we'll never even know exist. |

Did ICP ever comment on him? |
Bro he was only caught in 2012 and who gives a **** about ICP in 2012? Open Crime Bull**** on Spotify. Listen to that ****. It's lit.

Most of the murders in my part of town still go unsolved. As far as I can tell an untraceable gun and a mask and generic clothes are all you need. If you’re connected to the victim you’re pretty much ****ed, however. 2+2 = people are still killing for sport and you don’t need to be a genius to get away with it.

So now that I actually have wireless headphones finally, I GUESS I want podcast recommendations. Podcasts centered around (or just adjacent to) the following topics would be nice: pop culture analysis (especially of the trashier variety, or old hollywood), unsolved disappearances, non-murder mysteries beyond the obvious famous ones, um sociology in general I suppose as well as The Internet in general (especially if it involves murder and schemes), anything food related especially if it involves food trends of yore and is not overly pretentious or snooty, britney spears, enochian magic, gnosticism and gnostic-adjacent/dualistic early religions, Mesopotamia, mental illness/psychiatry in america (including anti-psychiatry/psychiatry critical stuff as I find it very interesting), folklore, conspiracy theories (of the more whimsical variety), cats dogs wolves birds etc.

Last Podcast on the Left is the obvious fiest step.

You should start your own podcast. Just talk about anything that enters your head. |

Unfortunately our interests are only tangentially related so I can never quite rec anything specific. I mean if you were interested in more murdery stuff I'd have good stuff for you but mystery disappearance stuff that isn't linked to a serial killer doesn't interest me as much cause I just want to imbibe the chaotic evil.
If you ever find any good conspiracy stuff hit me up though. I don't have that much good for that besides QAnonAnonymous which doesn't sound up your alley but I also love the Annunaki Coast-to-Coast-AM type ****. |
Quote:
And as for the QAnon stuff, I mean it's interesting to me as a cultural phenomenon of course. It's just not as fun and festive as the saturn moon matrix/hollow earth type stuff. Or things like alien whistleblowers and MK-Ultra (though I know there's lots of qanon types/former reptilian believer types who think literally every other celebrity is a MK-Ultra slave who has an actual full-time handler/programmer and literal clones of themselves waiting to be used. They seem to believe this solely because they don't understand the concept of aging/looking haggard sometimes and plastic surgery etc. I love reading Britney Spears conspiracy theories even though it makes me feel bad/guilty when I think of her ever stumbling across them, kind gentle soul that she is) |
Then True Crime Bull**** is an excellent series because of its super deep dive into everything about one serial killer who isn't that well known. The host basically has an obsessive Sunny in Philadelphia board with red strings to figure out every single thing about the murderer and much of it is unprovable conjecture and it's just great.

I think you’d kill it if you just went off like how you post I think you could be like the new art bell but different more avant garde and trickier to follow and no callers but just ambient I’d listen like a mf Not with a boy though - just you and that trippy brain |

and I do mean every last one of them are so ****ing stupid it’s worrisome that it could be a contagious brain fungus or something |

It's like the most boring, incompetent version of Info Wars that keeps the skeleton of Coast to Coast without any of the soul. |
You should tell him just once he’d literally starve to death under the economic system he’s advocating for and argue it like me. No matter what he says say you’d be ****ing dead. Don’t vary. Don’t discuss. His death is the only point. Not why. Not how. Just him dead from starvation.
And that is the case. Christ he lives in a flophouse with you. |
