I do audiobooks a lot, and I think I prefer podcasts. Primarily because the amount of books I've started and then hated...it's easier to take 40 minute bites.

Kept hearing commercials on other podcasts for some goofy exorcism audio drama and after a few weeks I got curious. Actually a fun show with ridiculous but satisfying demonic voice scenes but it's kinda heavy on Jesus. I didn't think too much about it until show's priest went on an extended digression about converting to Catholicism from atheism, so I Googled the show and it's god damn Catholic propaganda!!!

It's not an audio drama at all, the priest is a real priest who claims to do actual exorcisms who's been on fricking Charlie Kirk's show and the reporter is a writer for The Catholic Register. Mother****ing Dickolics! 10/10 would get fooled again.

It's on iHeart Radio, right? I keep hearing ads from it when I listen to Where Were You in '92.

Oof, I know that feeling too well. So many Youtube channels related to my hobbies will have some perfectly normal videos and I'll get into it and then I'll stumble across one where they'll casually drop some unhinged right wing garbage and it makes me feel icky for watching them.

It's straight up Satanic Panic **** too. Lady can't conceive a child so she goes to a psychic, next thing you know she's smashing rats with a hammer to absorb their life force. They ****ing ripped off Dracula and are trying to pass it off as a true story.
