Didn't have the same polish or quite the budget as 3 but I remember it having a more vivid atmosphere that could get a bit actual creep at times. Loved it.

Fun fact that you all probably already know: This game started as an early build of RE4, but was ultimately turned into its own series because of the fast action and utter lack of horror.
This is why Dante and Leon both have the same hairstyle, cool jackets, and awful smacktalk with the bosses. And, you know, all of the fixed camera angles. Also, apparently the juggling mechanic was added after a playtester for the first Onimusha game discovered a glitch where you could smack demons in the air and cheese them off for an eternity.

I did know the RE4 thing but not the Onimusha thing. Nice.
