Default [BONUS POLL] MB Video Game Classics: Halo 3

I don't remember a lot about this one but I remember it being at least decent. It's probably better than I remember.

It's not. I don't care about the multiplayer and the campaign is dull, short as hell, and the combat isn't even that great. I tried getting back into it awhile back and got bored after 20 minutes. Halo 4 was a drastic improvement.

That's what I remembered. I know it wasn't received well. I got bored with it pretty quick as well. I am excited to see how the new one will be. Definitely a series that deserves a solid revival. I feel like they lost what they were going for with Halo.

The first one was just a cool sci-fi story with a great setting to explore. After that it got unnecessarily into making a space opera from a concept that really didn't need three whole games talking about the same thing. I haven't beaten 4 yet but I dig that they're exploring the whole concept of the Spartans and questioning whether the Master Chief is just a gruff guy with no personality because Bungie didn't care about making him a good character or because he's an emotionally broken shell of a person. Neat.

I do love the character for Master Chief. Especially after I played Reach. That story granted a bit short was fantastic. I will say back when the Halo remaster came out it, it was well received. I loved it.

Never really been big on Halo. I definitely have fond memories of playing the original with some friends when I was like...8 or 9. The subsequent titles were just kind of there for me. I can get into FPS for a little bit at a time but it will definitely never be my favorite genre. And if I want fun single player FPS with a good story give me Bioshock or Wolfenstein over Halo for sure.

Haven't played Reach. I've played the first three and ODST and now I'm playing 4.

Ayeeee. Both Wolfenstein and Bioshock are fantastic. I've still not played the newest Wolfenstein but I hear its great.

And you should give Reach a shot bat. Especially if you wanna know the back story. It's really well told and the campaign is pretty dope. I thought ODST was alright tho I never played it all the way through.

I'm honestly not that interested in the story. Halo 1's was fun but not brilliant or anything and I like Halo 4's story (so far) because it's an interesting twist on the characterization of the Chief that reminds me of how comic book characters can be completely reinvented by new writers in a way that ****s your head but still makes sense. I don't know that I care about whatever else is going on.
