Anyone up for this? I'll start:
Did anyone catch the symbolism of how at the end of the celebration dinner for Abel, which had devolved into a wicked and debauched party, Mother (who'd been trying to get everyone to behave and stay in line) keeps pleading with a couple to get off of the sink, which is not yet anchored. They keep defying her until the sink rips away from the wall and water starts spraying out all over the place. All of the party-goers quickly leave and are absent for the middle portion of the movie. Obviously this is a reference to The Great Flood. Mankind had gotten wicked and were refusing to get in line so God caused the flood and wiped everyone out. Discuss.
