I can understand how some would find it boring if they hadn't latched on to what Aronofsky was doing. Damn, he painted Eve as one ****ing wicked bitch. Maybe she just resented God for being created out of a scrap of Adam's body. One big question I was left with is what is the crystal? Obviously it plays the role of the forbidden fruit when Adam and Eve break it. But how does that tie into how God keeps using it to rejuvenate the planet?
