Favorite Video Game Cutscenes
One thing I both don't see a lot of people talk about and simultaneously rip on games for doing this are the cutscenes. Some games have some absolutely fantastic cutscenes and often times they tend to help the story develop and increase your chances of really diving into the game. I'm not the most humongous fan of cutscenes in games but i do love them when they allow the story grow more and more. And one that I will always turn back to is the fall of Arthas in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos / The Frozen Throne:
It not only showcases the fall of Arthas, but gives you something to look forward to in terms of the story. At this point, the game grows pretty dark. I love it. But, I'll also mention this one as well for kicks: ^Classic cutscene if I've ever seen one. |

One of my new favs from Batman Arkham Origins. Copperhead is just so visually interesting to watch move. The cutscene is only a minute-and-a-half at the start but the only video with just the cutscene has meh quality.

^both fantastic pics. Especially the Kakariko Village one. I still remember the first time I ever became an adult in Ocarina of Time and walking out to the market for the first time as an adult was ****ing terrifying. Those re-deads will always be scary.
