SC2 was my introduction to Blizzard games. Loved it, loved the ludicrous storyline, tried multiplayer and got stomped. Without the restrictions of SC1 it's a lot easier to get into but for whatever reason it's not as satisfying to play after having played so much of it. Something about building up a ball of death army and then unleashing hell with it is very satisfying but also not as engaging as commanding less units 12 at a time while building and organizing a constant stream of reinforcements. I'm far more terrible at SC1 but there's fun in that.
But SC2 is still a classic and much love to the Swarm.

SC2 is one of those games that I think will be a staple in gaming for generations to come. It nails the RTS style better than Warcraft but that's more so because Warcraft went more toward an MMO. It'd be interesting to see Starcraft go that route however I'm also happy that they didn't.
